A dream that had never come true Part 4/4

After three hours of struggle I managed to free myself and I comprehended to myself strongly that ‘you are in a big trouble, everyone surrounding you is a big drama and of all those CF is worst’. First I should get out of this place and I had to go somewhere safe and reliable. So, I gently sneaked out of that room and realized that it was my office and that room belongs to my CF. Assuming my the physical aspects my office cannot be modified much I laid a route in my mind to carefully reach my home. As I was searching for stairs I could see a single flight of stairs which looked similar to my home. I thought no way! I was about to shout ‘NO WAY!’ Then I grasped that it was just the dummy stair case which looked similar to the one in my home. Swiftly I decided to take a courageous step towards the elevator and left the building and was roaming in parking lot for a ride. I was startled by the sight of a Red Lamborghini Gallardo with its engines on. I believed the owner might be drunk and …

A dream that had never come true Part 3/4

It was Tuesday morning and started off to work a bit early and to my surprise there was no traffic congestion anywhere and the roads looked spacious than ever. I decided to give my sweet ride a chance to see what it’s made of and started speeding insanely and was jumping signals. There was a spot on my way to office where people usually do drag racing and to my luck there was a nice ride waiting at the signal. So, I halted briefly and challenged the rider for a quarter mile and he said he wasn’t interested. While on the side of my ride a black Porsche with black tinted windows and stopped by and signaled to do a quarter mile by moving the car just ahead of my ride and waiting for the green signal. We started on the green light and there was a kid crossing the road, in order to save the kid I just tilted the power steering for a bit longer than required and the next thing I remember was huge sound echoing all around my ears. Nurse whispering to doctor that it was a big tragic news on We…

A dream that had never come true Part 2/4

Days passed by and it’s another ordinary day at the regular coffee stop. Co-founder (CF) was walking towards my mundane table while I was ordering the routine. I am perplexed at that incident and moved towards the table. As I am about to grab a chair the cryptic look on the face of CF made me question myself again whether to grab the chair or to take the chair to the next table. After a brief moment of fuss with phone I sat there almost not noticing CF. A wicked smile on the face of CF made me think to strike a conversation. Finally words just busted out of my mouth at an uncontrollable bound and I said ‘Breakfast preference: Pancakes or sleeping till lunch?’ and CF replied ‘I would prefer eggs and bacon. Do you know that I know you?’ Filled with amazement I modestly replied ‘I am really grateful that you recognized my work at office’ and to my shock CF replied ‘No, not from work you and I went to same school’               After a long pause of recollection of those ama…

A dream that had never come true Part 1/4

I think it happened a few months back. There was a weird thought in my mind that what if everything till date was just a dream and I wake up with the warm hug from my parents back when I was a kid. It created a quiver in my spine and kicked me out of bed. Waking up with such an odd dream required a strong coffee to go on with the daily shop. At the coffee shop owing to strength requirement the sugar cubes laying there useless. ‘Do you mind if I use it?’ a sharp voice pointing towards me. As I was about to give reply, she passed by me and sat at the table behind me. Feeling a little embarrassed I continued relishing my coffee and started off to work.             Outstanding traffic jams and irresponsible music geeks made the journey to office even annoying. Around 45 minutes later I reached the office and had to see the boss to ask for an apology. It turns out that my hilariously bad luck chose me to see that boss was in a meeting in which even I was supposed to be the…
